The Boleyn pitch.........
WTF? Seriously it's been many years since the pitch has looked so bad.

When Payet was running with the ball it was bobbling all over the place.

Surely with 25 days between the Spurs game and Nobes all stars they are going to sort it out.

I can't believe G&S are so stupid and tight not to want to spend money on it because of the move.

I would think that it is easier to meet, have a quick session then travel across to Euston.

Perhaps we've identified that training at Chadwell Heath, and then playing on a flat perfect surface at UP, is actually to our disadvantage?

We can't alter Chadwell Heath so we've aligned ourselves with it at UP, maybe?

Makes a mad sort of sense - it's certainly pissing off the opposition if Sam and Pinnochio are anything to go by.

In less than three weeks? Given how it looks now, I hope they've got a bulk order of Miracle Gro coming.

Well, I'm sure they'll think the pitch will recover in time

I see they trained on the pitch today, is there any reason for that? Certainly isn't going to help things.

Better be in a decent state for our mass pitch invasion after the final game.

Scoreboard has been back for a few games, one game it just didn't move, off again last night and Saturday lunchtime I think.

Get the feeling they've just turned the scoreboards off seeing as the score and time is now on the TV screen.

B

I thought they stopped using the scoreboards when they started showing the score on the two big screens???

did a ground tour couple of years ago...everything about it then was ageing and not 'fit for purpose'...

As long as there is a few blades of grass left come 29th May...my boys team playing in a tournament there...maybe even one of the last to grace ;-)

Didn't think there was much wrong with it last night.

Why does anyone need a scoreboard to tell you we are winning 1-0?

Re: The Boleyn pitch.........
Both scoreboards have gone now. They've not been working for approx the last 3 matches.

Re: The Boleyn pitch.........
I didn't think the pitch was as bad last night as it had been for the Sunderland & Villa games. Might have been the rain early in the match that slicked it up a bit so the ball ran better.
Place does seem to be falling apart though.
The clock at the BM end has been out for ages and the scoreboard under the screen at that end has gone now too.
